Barton Training is provided by the Barton Training Trust, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering first-class management training for industry and high-quality residential experiences for disadvantaged children.
The BTT was founded in 1990 by Charlie Wigzell, the originator of the method of training now known as Barton Training.
He is the Chief Executive of the trust and works to a board of trustees. These are:
- Dudley Lewis (chair)
- Laura McEwan-Hill
- Drummond Forbes
- Geoff Thomas
Since 1990, the trust has trained over 600 participants and provided holidays for more than 2,000 disadvantaged children.
